Dirt Mile (Post Time: 1:16 PM E)

#10 Catalina Cruiser (Win and Place) ML: 8/5

Four career starts. Never lost. Three straight Beyer figures over 100. Trainer John Sadler is 4-for-13 (31%) when stretching out in graded company. This horse is the class of the field. Emerging star. Great post. Will be a short price but should win easily. Best bet of the day!

TwinsSpires Sprint (Post Time: 2:46 PM E)

#9 Roy H (Place only) ML: 5/2

Won this race last year and seems to be training even better for Pete Miller. I won with this horse in his last start at Santa Anita and didn't even break a sweat. Earned a 105 Beyer figure. Mostly a West Coast horse. He has shipped well in the past, winning a grade 2 at Belmont in the Summer of 2017. Lets not get greedy and play him for Place.

Classic (Post Time: 5:44 PM E)

#6 McKinzie (Win, Place, and Show) ML: 6/1

Five career starts with four wins and one second. Bob Baffert has stated that this was his best horse for the Kentucky Derby, but had a setback in the Spring and missed out on the Triple Crown. This horse is now healthy and training with purpose. Improving Beyer figures in his past four starts, topping at 107 in the Grade 1 Penn. Derby in September. Jockey Mike Smith could have rode West Coast, but chose to remain on McKinzie who has been aboard for all five career starts. His dosage index is 2.33 which means he's bred for the 1 1/4 mile journey. Play him across the board in what should be a thrilling race.

Good Luck! Jeff H/JHSL
