This should be one dandy of a football game in front of a National audience this coming Sunday Night. I will be watching from Pre-game through Post-game. Let's take a look at some key news, notes, and stats from this NFC East match-up. For all you trend lovers, I posted three from my database.

The Eagles will be playing their 3rd straight game vs. an NFC foe. They are 2-0 SU and ATS in the previous two games. If Brian Westbrook can't go (check status) that will be a big loss for the Eagles. He has had monster games vs. Dallas in his career. Dallas has scored 101 points in their last 3 games. Miles Austin has given this team a big-time #1 receiver. He also plays with a passion that has been needed on this Cowboys' team since T.O. left. Get to know the 6-3, 213- pound WR because he is a rising star. I compare him to Larry Fitzgerald who is the same height but 5 pounds heavier. Miles is faster. They both play the exact same way. That's the day the Cowboys got their ass kicked by the Eagles. The score was 44-6! That's also the day I thought Wade Phillips would get axed. I am not his biggest fan to say the least, but he has done a decent job so far this season.

Something's Gotta Give

The Cowboys pass for 263 yards per game but the Eagles only allow 193 passing yards per game. The Cowboys are 5-1 SU and ATS vs. the NFC East while the Eagles are 4-1 SU and ATS.

Better Offense

Dallas Cowboys average 411 YPG this season compared to 344 for Philly.

Better Defense

Philadelphia Eagles average 296 Yards Against compared to 360 for Dallas. Philly has a knack for creating turnovers. Dallas does not and in fact ranks last in takeaways.

Better Special Teams

After the first two weeks I would have said Philadelphia. As of right now I would say it's pretty even.

Dallas Cowboys-- They got their ass handed to them in last year's playoff game by these same Eagles.

The Cowboys are 5-3 to the Over this year and the Eagles are 6-1 to the Over. Hence the line is so high at 47.5 points. The Over is 6-1-1 L8 when these teams meet in Philly. Most of the time when the Over looks like a can't miss prospect the exact opposite happens. Be careful!
