Top Daytime Starting Pitchers over the last three Seasons.

I think generally speaking most pitchers will perform better in the daytime than at night. Most day games are played after night games which helps the pitcher a great deal. Also, the sun creates shadows that gives all batters fits. The following eight starters have been awesome in day games over the last three seasons.

The Great 8 from 2007-2009

#1 Johan Santana (NYM) 20-10, 2.47 ERA

#2 CC Sabathia (NYY) 16-8, 2.96 ERA

#3 Chad Billingsley (LAD) 16-9, 2.91 ERA

#4 Felix Hernandez (Sea) 15-7, 2.94 ERA

#5 Brian Bannister (KC) 15-8, 4.25 ERA

#6 Wandy Rodriguez (Hou) 13-8, 2.90 ERA

#7 Jered Weaver (LAA) 13-4, 2.83 ERA

#8 Josh Johnson (FLA) 7-1, 3.53 ERA
